Gable Strickland picked up wins over Richie Koehler and Jacob Manley a few weeks ago to close out his 23-9 season undefeated against MAC competition and held his #1 ranking heading into the postseason. Despite having wins over Cole Rhone and Lucian Brink, Jacob Manley is prevented from moving any higher than #5 due to his losses to Bryce West, Aaron Schulist, and Richie Koehler this season. This weight class is a little messy with a lot of mixed results between many of the guys in the field, so it’s really anyone’s for the taking at the conference tournament as many of these athletes have shown the ability to defeat one another.
