Returning SoCon champion Brayden Palmer had a very strong performance at the Southern Scuffle where he picked up wins over Attasauov Ramazan and #16 Aaron Nagao and gave Daton Fix a very competitive 7-3 match in the finals to finish as the runner-up. With that showing, Palmer elevated himself to the #15 ranking in the country at 133 pounds and #1 in the SoCon. Sean Carter was 3-3 at the Scuffle and finished eighth. Michael Schiffhauer picked up wins over Ananth Manibushan and Noah Burstein over the last month to move up to the #5 ranking at 133 pounds.
