Returning NCAA runner-up Cohlton Schultz has had a very strange season up to this point. After forfeiting out of CKLV, Schultz took a 4-0 loss to true freshman Dayton Pitzer in the quarterfinals of the Midlands before picking up wins over #22 Boone McDermott, #23 Colton McKiernan, and #10 Yaraslau Slavikouski to finish third at 285 pounds. It will be interesting to follow Schultz along for the rest of the season and see if he can return to his form from last season. Trevor Tinker picked up a win over HM Garrett Joles last month to claim the #2 ranking at 285 pounds in the Pac-12.
