Two-time All-American Bernie Truax finished 2-1 at the National Collegiate Duals with a win over #5 Michael Beard but took his first loss of the season by fall to #9 Issac Trumble. The results between Beard, Truax, and Trumble were a rankers delight as Beard majored Trumble and lost to Truax, Truax defeated Beard and was pinned by Trumble, and Trumble was majored by Beard by pinned Truax. That is just a small example of the turmoil that is 197 pounds this season. Tanner Harvey was 1-2 at the National Collegiate Duals but has a win over Kordell Norfleet this season to maintain the #2 ranking at 197 pounds in the Pac-12.
