61 - Daton Fix

Seth Gross took out Daton Fix to earn the world team spot at 61kg for the United States. Despite the win over Fix, Gross had mixed results prior and slides in at #6 because of a lack of results against international competition. No one else in the top 10 was in action since the last set of rankings. However, Japan will host their world team trials June 16-19 with either Sakaki or Higuchi being the favorite to win the 61kg spot.
