Chris Kober remains as the #1-ranked 197-pounder in the SoCon as he is the only remaining wrestler at this weight that is undefeated against SoCon competition. Matthew Waddell enters this weight class at the #2 ranking after moving up from 184 pounds after picking up wins over Tyler Mousaw and Anthony Perrine. Perrine moves up to #4 after defeating Finlay Holston.
