2021-22 Big Ten Conference Rankings

149 pounds

The top half of this weight has proven to be mixed with guys that will in all likelihood be battling it out with each other for All-American honors. WIth that being said, not too much has changed over the last few weeks at 149 pounds in the Big Ten. An interesting note however, former national qualifier Vince Turk has competed for the Hawkeyes in their last two Big Ten duals in place of Max Murin, with Murin competing in between those two duals at the Bout at the Ballpark against Oklahoma State. That's not to say Turk will be the starter for Iowa, just something interesting to keep an eye out for.

Christian Kanzler picked up a win over Michael Blockhus to jump up to #8. Kanen Storr made his return from an injury he sustained in December and fell to Graham Rooks, so Rooks moved up to #10 above Storr. Michael North also defeated Peyton Omania to move above him to #12.
