2021-2022 NCAA D1 Dual Rankings

Team Dual Rankings

The dual meet season is in the books! The final weekend of duals resulted in minor changes. First, Wisconsin took out Cornell, 19-16, cementing the Badgers in the top 10. Though the Badgers lost to #12 Nebraska, they had a better overall year at 12-2 than Nebraska did at 6-5.

Another notable result came from the battle of New Jersey with Rutgers taking out Princeton, 24-13. Rutgers wrestled the most duals of any team in the top 25 and acquired an impressive 16-5 record. Princeton's win over Arizona State back in January keeps them from dropping too far in the rankings.

The final movement comes from Northwestern's 20-15 win over Purdue. The Wildcats closed out their Big 10 season on a 5 dual meet winning streak securing back-to-back ranked wins over Michigan State and Purdue.

It's been a wild year of duals with only Penn State coming away undefeated and earning the clear #1 spot with head-to-head wins over both #2 Iowa and #3 Michigan. Because of Big 10 scheduling, Iowa didn't wrestle #3 Michigan this year but did have wins over #4 NC State, #5 Ohio State, and #6 Iowa State. Those wins are far better than what #3 Michigan can boast on the year.
