Previous #1 and returning national finalist Giovanny Bonilla of Grand View suffered a season-ending injury. Though Grand View lost Bonilla, the Vikings still have a ranked wrestler here. Israel Casarez comes into the rankings at #5. 

Indiana Tech's Nate Wheeler takes over as the new #1 entering the NAIA Championships. He's 28-3 this season. Wilder Wichman moves up to #2 after winning a Mid-South Conference bracket that included #3 Derrick Smallwood and #10 Anthony Maia.
