Nick Feldman won the U20 Open, and while he did pick up Ryan Boersma and pull off a front-flip in the finals, he also had a tight bout with NDSU's Juan Mora in the semis. He looked outstanding otherwise, but Mora was able to keep it close. Boerma moved up after beating Chase Horne who finished sixth.
