2020-21 Arizona High School Rankings

2020-21 Arizona High School Rankings: 138

The top two Arizona wrestlers faced off at Super 32 (Benjamin Alanis and Ramos Ramos). Alanis topped Ramos for fifth place and takes the #1 spot in the 138-pound class. Alanis was one takedown away from upsetting the #2 nationally ranked 138-pound wrestler, Jesse Mendez, too.

In early tournaments, Liberty seems to bounce former #6 Tyler Sauter up to 145 pounds. Therefore, #4 Carson Coy takes the spot Tyler Sauter would have had if he stayed in the 138-pound class.

Coy deserves early recognition. His success in the Brian Keck blood rounds proves he is able to compete with some top-tier wrestlers. With Coy’s rise, Dalton Loyden and Wyatt Ogle drop a spot.
