USA Wrestling, FloWrestling and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum has published its eighth national rankings for high school girls wrestlers for the 2020-21 season.

This ranking evaluates all girls enrolled in grades 8-12, and athletes from all 50 states are eligible for selection.

This will be the final ranking for the 2020-21 academic year, and is being posted prior to the biggest of the annual high school girls national competitions, the USMC Junior and 16U Nationals in Fargo, N.D., July 16-23. Numerous of the nationally ranked wrestlers are already signed up for Fargo, with many, many more expected to be registered in the next two weeks.

A number of national events that impacted the rankings were held in June, led by the USA Wrestling Junior National Duals. In addition, a few of the last state high school girls championships were also hosted during the month.

There is only one new No. 1 wrestler in the final ranking, Jaycee Foeller of Missouri at 180 pounds. Foeller defeated the No. 1 ranked wrestler in her weight class during Junior Duals, along with two other ranked wins.

The Pound-For-Pound rankings were also updated, with two athletes moving into the top 25, Foeller at No. 24 and Zao Estrada of South Carolina at No. 25.

The next National Girls High School Ranking will be announced in the fall, the first for the 2021-22 academic year. Results from the USMC Junior and 16U Nationals will be a big factor in that ranking. Graduated seniors from this year will be removed

Coaches, parents and athletes are encouraged to provide information about specific athletes and their achievements throughout the year for the committee to consider. If they have information on specific girls who should be considered for ranking or updates on their achievements, please send it by email to girlsrankings@usawrestling.org. The quality of these rankings continue to improve as people choose to share updated information.
