86 - David Taylor

David Taylor pinned Hassan Yazdani in the finals of the 2023 World Championships to take a 5-1 series lead in their rivalry. After Taylor and Yazdani, Azamat Dauletbekov and Myles Amine won bronze medals at Worlds and come in at the #3 and #4 ranked wrestlers respectively. Dauletbekov defeated Amine last year at Worlds and gets the nod ahead of Amine for that reason. Most of the other rankings changes at 86kg follow the results at the Worlds - you can check out all of those results here.

The only other notable changes in the rankings came from the Dmitry Korkin tournament. Artur Naifonov came away with gold there with a 2-0 victory over Malik Shavaev in the finals. Despite the loss to Naifonov, Shavaev took out Amanulla Gadzhimagomedov in the semis, 10-0, and jumps to #7 at 86 kg.
