57 - Zaur Uguev

India's Aman and China's Zou come into the rankings after their performances this month. Aman won India's Asian Games trials and holds wins this year over Zane Richards, Wanhao Zao, and Almaz Smanbekov. Zou won gold at the Budapest Ranking Series event by defeating Ahmad Javan (IRI) and Almaz Smanbekov. While Smanbekov lost to Zou, he defeated Zane Richards on his way to a silver medal in Budapest.

It's also worth noting that Abakarov competed up at 61kg at the Ranking Series event in Budapest. While this is interesting, it's nothing new for Abakarov. He wrestled numerous times at 61kg, and even a few at 65kg, before dropping to 57kg for worlds. We should expect the same from Abakarov this year and will keep him ranked at 57kg.
