97 - Abdulrashid Sadulaev

The only change at 97 kg comes from Alisher Yergali dropping down from 125 kg. Yergali won a bronze medal at the Budapest Ranking Sereies tournament where he defeated Vladimer Baitsaev and Erik Thiele. On top of those wins, Yergali has a past win over Mchedlidze and slots in right ahead of him in the rankings.

It's also worth noting Kyle Snyder's run in Budapest. Snyder won gold but had a tight, 3-2 win over 2022 world bronze medalist Givi Matcharashvili.
