Pound for Pound - Abdulrashid Sadulaev

Gable Steveson comes back into the pound-for-pound rankings after making his return at the US Open. Steveson slides just ahead of 2022 world champion Taha Akgul who Steveson notably defeated at the Tokyo Olympics.

Since the last rankings, there were two matches between pound-for-pound wrestlers - Akgul vs Petriashvili and Tumur-Ochir vs Amouzad. Both higher-ranked wrestlers (Akgul and Amouzad) came out on top in their showdowns and hold their spots in the rankings.
