Zurabi Iakobishvili won the European Championships by defeating #15 Ramazanov in the quarter-finals and #18 Andreasyan in the finals. Ramazanov wrestled back and defeated Azerbaijan’s Ziraddin Bayramov in the bronze medal match. 

At U23 Euros, Giorgi Elbakidze moved into the rankings by winning gold and defeating Moldova’s Nicolai Grahmez. Though he suffered the loss to Elbakidze, Grahmez stays in the rankings based on his bronze medal at U23 worlds and winning bronze at both U23 Euros and Senior Euros. 

Also of note from this set of rankings is the removal of James Green at the #3 spot. Green announced his retirement from competition and will be taking a coaching job with USA Wrestling as the developmental coach.
