Anzor Khizriev holds his spot in the rankings after winning a Yarygin title in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Khizriev defeated #12 Vitali Goloev in the finals, 8-7, and also had wins over Oleg Boltin (10-7) and Alen Khubolov (4-2). Khizriev fails to move higher in the rankings as no heavyweight ranked in the top 10 was in competition at The Yarygin.

The aforementioned Goloev made a major jump in the rankings after bringing home the silver medal and defeating #14 Shamil Sharipov (7-2), Khasan Khubaev (pin), and Tamerlan Rasuev (5-4). Alen Kubulov and Tamerlan Rasuev went on to take bronze at The Yarygin but still remain outside the top 20 after failing to have any wins over ranked wrestlers.
