Pound for Pound

Five of the wrestlers in the pound for pound rankings were in action since the last set of rankings however there are no changes in the order of the top 20. #1 Sadulaev and #15 Bajrang took losses on paper but both were injury defaults and will not be counted against their rankings.

#2 Zaurbek Sidakov, #6 Gadzhimurad Rashidov, and  # 10 Zaur Uguev were all in action at the Sassari tournament. All three won gold in Italy but did so in a “weak” field. They did not wrestle a ranked wrestler and all ended their matches pre-maturely via tech or pin.
