#15 Nikita Suchkov won the Ali Aliev by defeating #16 Saipulla Alibolatov in the finals, 9-3. Alibolatov put himself on the map and moved into the rankings by taking out #17 Magomed Kurbanaliev in the semi-finals, 8-5. #18 Daniyar Kaisanov dropped a few spots in the rankings after taking 5th at the Aliev and losing to Kurbanaliev and Alibolatov.

Although he’s not in the rankings yet, former world medalist Yakup Gor won the Yasar Dogu over a relatively “weak” field. Gor will be a competitor to watch for Turkey as they have no one currently ranked in the top 20.
