Minor movement in the rankings at 57kg after the Olympic Games Qualifier. There, Yuki Takahashi and Bekhbayar Erdenebat met in the finals, with Erdenebat forfeiting after 1 period. Erdenebat had been removed from the rankings a month ago due to his lack of recent results. He’s back in after qualifying for the Olympics and slots behind Gilman based on a head to head loss at the 2019 Yarygin. Takahashi holds his spot in the rankings and will most likely have to wrestle-off Rei Higuchi for the Japanese Olympic Spot at 57kg. The only other movement at 57kg is the removal of Horst Lehr (GER) because of lack of competitive activity.
