184 Zahid Valencia

The top five finishers from last season either graduated (Foster, Martin, Preisch & Parker) or are taking an Olympic redshirt (Dean). Another All-American (Geer) was expected to move up to 197, although that turned out not to b the case. Two other AAs (Ness and Zavatsky) also graduate. What we are left with is Zahid Valencia (who is pretty good) likely moving up from 174, and Ben Darmstadt (also good) coming back from a medical redshirt and moving down from 197. We also have several bloodround finishers from last season (Bonaccorsi, Colbray, Venz & DePrez) at 184, a bloodround finisher from last season at 174 (Lujan), plus Shakur Rasheed and Cash Wilcke in the mix. And that's how you make a brand new 184-pound preseason top 10!

Additionally, keep an eye on redshirt freshman Trent Hidlay, who checks in at #14, but could very well find himself in the top 10 in short order.
