2018-19 High School Wrestling Rankings
Rankings Are Back With New #1's
With Who's #1 in the books and Super 32 right around the corner, you know the season is finally approaching.
Along with a dynamite Journeymen field that I wrote about here, results from WNO and weight changes for S32 cause a significant shift in the rankings. Six new #1's grace the top spot!
In the Pound-for-Pound:
Alirez gets a big bump as an undisputed #1 at 145 and largely because of his wins against college guys. Vasquez outplaced him at last year's S32, and I don't feel great about the move. But I think it was the right one. Nomad and I will discuss on WNO the Show.
Kharchla moves up, Facundo gets in.
There's a three-headed monster at the bottom, which will also be a topic on the show.
For brevity's sake here, JoJo gets in after winning the 4-man at 138.
