Class of 2021 High School Big Board

Senior Big Board

After one of the strangest recruiting years on record, we now have our final Big Board for the class of 2021. After taking a couple losses this year, Richie Figueroa proved why he's such an incredible prospect by running the table at Junior World Team Trials. He'll enter a 125 field where he can make a big impact.

Facundo and Gallagher are great prospects who appear to be key difference-makers at Penn State and Ohio State, respectively. Shayne Van Ness will also make a big difference at Penn State although his ideal weight class is yet to be determined.

Drake Ayala has had an incredible year and finishes at #5 on the Big Board after beating Figueroa at Who's #1, winning Super 32, and embracing competition every chance he could get.

DJ Hamiti sits at #6 and should be a big piece for Bono and company at Wisconsin. His dominance at Super 32 this fall propelled him into the consciousness of most wrestling fans, and he's continued to be outstanding since then.

Chance Lamer is another huge climber on this board. His victory over Van Ness and consistent excellence this season are great signs for Michigan fans who will be eager to see Lamer in the lineup.

Cael Valencia and Joel Vandervere have been solid prospects for a while, and nothing has changed. They'll look to make major impacts at Arizona State and Northwestern respectively.

Alejandro Herrera-Rondon rounds out the top 10. He had a tough regular season that allowed him to cross paths with Rocco Welsh and Paniro Johnson regularly. He capped off his career with an impressive victory over Victor Voinovich at PWC, and Sooner fans should be excited to see his scrambling and top work in action.

Beyond the top ten there are significant changes after months without an update. Be on the lookout for recruiting class rankings soon!
