Class of 2021 High School Big Board

Junior Big Board Adds Star System

In previous iterations of the 2021 Big Board I've written that it's probably the class in high school I get most excited about. There is a lot of talent and the summer has done nothing to dispel that perception.

And a lot of wrestling has taken place since the last update. Changes here include scouting from FloNationals, Akron, and Fargo.

At the Top

The Top 5 remains in the exact same order, but the back half of the Top 10 are all come from the outside. Poulin, Sokol, and Haas made the World Team (Haas in both styles). Pinto lit up Fargo, ousting reigning champ Tate Picklo, formerly of the Top 10. In addition to Copass repeating as Fargo Champ, he makes a case as the next great heavyweight prospect that will graduate at a time when a good number of the college talent will be at the end of their careers.

Big Movers

Voinovich had a blistering freestyle season that saw him make the Fargo finals and propel him from #44 to #11.

Andre Gonzalez is the highest ranked newbie to the board at #24. Evan Bates, who beat returning champ Noah Pettigrew in Fargo, goes from HM to #39.
