Class of 2021 High School Big Board

2021's Led By Cadet World Teamers

We continue our rollout of the recruits per grade in the leadup to Super 32. Here we look at the Sophomore Class and next week we'll feature Freshmen.

After Akron we discussed how deep the Class of 2021 is. And throughout the summer they continued to impress.

The top three here all wrestled at at Worlds with Facundo and Figs both earning medals. #2 Manville has perhaps the most impressive list of elite wins of anyone in high school.

At the Top

The Top 3 and nine of the Top 10 remain the same. The only new member of the Top 10 is Minnesota's Quayin Short who teched/pinned all but one of his opponents on his way to a Fargo Cadet title. Travis Mastrogiovanni also won Fargo with Franco reaching the finals for the second straight year.

Toughest Calls

The most difficult decisions this go-round involved those we haven't seen in a while. Ryan Sokol wowed us at Fargo last year but has been inactive since. It's tough to assess at this point. We also haven't seen Peyton Craft this spring/summer.

On Wednesday, join me and @wrestlingnomad as discuss the Soph. Big Board on Who's #1: The Show.
