2026 Men's Freestyle International Wrestling Rankings

97 kg - Abdulrashid Sadulaev

Hassan Yazdani moves up to #7 after defeating Amir Ali Azarpira in two straight matches to make Iran's world team at 97 kg. Despite a previous loss to Stephen Buchanan, Yazdani's career resume warrants a big jump in the rankings. 

Buchanan moves up to #11 after taking a match from Kyle Snyder at Final X. Buchanan's losses to Givi Matcharashvili and Arturo Silot keep him from rising higher in the rankings. 

Despite the loss to Buchanan, Snyder stays at #3 because of his wins in the past year over Arash Yoshida, Rizabek Aitmukhan, Akhmed Tazhudinov, and Amir Ali Azarpira.
