2025-26 NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings

149 - Shayne Van Ness

We reordered the top 10 at 149 after recent results and taking into account the entire season. First, we moved Caleb Tyus up to #4 for his wins on the year over Ethan Stiles and Casey Swiderski. On top of that, Tyus’ only loss this year is to Bo Bassett (a loss also shared by #2 Jaxon Joy).

Aden Valencia moves to #6 after defeating Jacob Frost. Valencia has now split with Frost this year and has losses to David Evans, Kaleb Larkin, and Shayne Van Ness. Frost moves down to #7 because of the loss and a previous loss on the year to #16 Eligh Rivera. Despite those losses, Frost’s wins over Ethan Stiles and Aden Valencia keep him from falling further. Those wins are better than anyone Frost is ranked ahead of.

Carter Young comes in at #12 after defeating Cross Wasilewski at the Southern Scuffle. Wasilewski drops to #13 - he only has one loss, but his best win on the season is over #15 Collin Gaj.

Eligh Rivera drops to #16 after losing to Lucas Kapusta. Wins over Jacob Frost and Lachlan McNeil keep Rivera from falling further. Kapust comes into the rankings at #31 but is kept from entering higher due to his losses this year to Joe Zargo and Kelly Dunnigan.
