2025 Men's Freestyle International Wrestling Rankings

125 kg - Amir Zare

Geno Petriashvili will not be competing this year and has been removed from his top spot in the rankings at 125 kg. With Petriashvili gone, Iran's Amir Zare takes over the #1 ranking. Zare also notably won the Takhti Cup by defeating #2 Amirreza Masoumi in the finals. 

Lkhagvagerel Munkhtur dropped a match to Soslan Khinchagov at the Ali Aliev. Despite the loss, Munkhtur holds his spot at #5 based on his resume of wins that includes victories over Zhiwei Deng, Mason Parris, Amirreza Masoumi, Yusup Batirmurzaev, and Geno Petriashvili.

With the win over Munkhtur, Khinchagov comes into the rankings at #14 but holds there after losing to #13 Shamil Musaev at the Aliev.
