2024-25 National High School Girls Wrestling Team Rankings

2024-25 National High School Girls Wrestling Team Rankings

The committee which selects the National Girls High School Rankings for individual athletes, which includes representation from USA Wrestling, FloWrestling and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum, has released its final national high school team ranking for the 2024-25 season today.

This ranking includes public and private schools at the high school level from all states, including states with official girls state championship events as well as those with unofficial girls state championships. All of the state high school championships for girls have been completed for the season.

The top two teams have remained the same since the February 2025 ranking, with No. 1 Wyoming Seminary (Pa.) and No. 2 Broken Arrow High School (Okla.) holding down their rankings. Wyoming Seminary was the 2025 Prep School National champions, and Broken Arrow was the 2025 Oklahoma 6A state champions.

Moving up to No. 3 was El Paso Eastwood High School (Texas), the 2025 Texas 6A state champions. Bixby High School (Okla.), the Oklahoma 6A state runner-up, finished at No. 4. The 2025 Iowa 2A state champions, Raccoon River-Northwest (Iowa), climbed to No. 5.

Rounding out the top 10 are all state champion teams: No. 6 Clovis East High School (Calif.), No. 7 Olentangy Orange High School (Ohio), No. 8 Toppenish High School (Wash.), No. 9 Moanalua High School (Hawaii) and No. 10 Garden City High School (Kansas).

This year, the committee ranked the top 50 teams and added 50 more teams in the Honorable Mention category.

There were 44 states represented in the top 100 teams with at least one school in the rankings. California had the most teams ranked with six. Texas and Washington were next with five selections. States with four teams in the rankings were Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Iowa and Missouri.

Winning a state team title in girls high school wrestling is an achievement worthy of national recognition. With many states having multiple state championships based upon school size, not every 2025 state team champion was included in the top 50 rankings or the 50 honorable mentions. This year, the committee chose to add an “honor roll of additional state champion teams,” which listed the other 2025. state champion schools that were not among the top 100 teams.

At the end of the ranking lists, there is a summary of each of the high school girls wrestling programs recognized in the final rankings of the year.

The selection committee wants to thank all of the coaches, parents and fans who have provided information on these and other successful girls high school wrestling teams. As always, please send all information and feedback via email to girlsrankings@usawrestling.org
