2024-25 National High School Girls Wrestling Rankings

125 pounds

USA Wrestling, FloWrestling and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum has published the final National Rankings for high school girls wrestlers for the 2024-25 season. This national ranking evaluates all girls enrolled in grades 8-12, and athletes from all 50 states are eligible for selection.

These rankings have heavily impacted by the results from the USA Wrestling Women’s National Duals in June, as well as a number of other events held in the late post-season.

This ranking includes seniors from the 2024-25 season. It is being posted prior to the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, N.D., July 12-13, where a large number of ranked wrestlers will compete in either the Junior or the 16U divisions.

There is only one new No. 1 ranked wrestler, Josephine Larson of Illinois at 190 pounds. The other No. 1 ranked wrestlers are unchanged and include Madison Healey of Pennsylvania (95), Jaclyn

Bouzakis of Pennsylvania (100), Morgan Turner of Illinois (105), Heather Crull of Indiana (110), Epenesa Elison of California (115), Everest Leydecker of Arizona (120), Emma Bacon of Pennsylvania (125), Aubre Krazer of Pennsylvania (130), Taina Fernandez of Maryland (135), Daniella Nugent of Massachusetts (140), Violette Lasure of Pennsylvania (145), Ella Poalillo of New Jersey (155), Piper Fowler of Tennessee (170) and Tilisa Matakaiongo of Utah (235).

The Pound-For-Pound (P-4-P) rankings had minimal changes. The biggest jump came from Aubre Krazer of Pennsylvania, who moved from No. 7 to No. 3 after beating two Senior World medalists at the Senior-level Grand Prix of Spain last week. Final X runner-up Everest Leydecker of Arizona remains the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the P-4-P.

There is only one new athlete in the P-4-P, Josephine Larson of Illinois, who comes in at No. 25.

The next national high school wrestling rankings will be published in the fall, and will not include graduated seniors, and will include incoming eighth graders.

Coaches, parents and athletes are encouraged to provide information about specific athletes and their achievements throughout the year for the committee to consider. If they have information on specific girls who should be considered for ranking or updates on their achievements, please send it by email to girlsrankings@usawrestling.org.

The quality of these rankings continue to improve as people choose to share updated information.
