2024 Domestic Men's Freestyle Olympic Weight Rankings

65 kg

65 kg was the toughest weight to rank this week. Joey McKenna was #2 because he recently beat Yianni Diakomihalis at the Kanyaev. However, he lost to Beau Bartlett and then Bartlett lost to Andrew Alirez in the finals. I decided to drop McKenna back below Diakomihalis instead of bringing Alirez and Bartlett over Diakomihalis considering Diakomihalis has been very consistent domestically and is a World silver medalist.

Things didn't get much easier in the bottom half. After beating Austin DeSanto and Aden Valencia last month at the Bill Farrell, Matt Kolodzik lost to Seth Gross this weekend and Gross beat Valencia as did DeSanto. Gross (4th) finished ahead of DeSanto (5th), but they both lost to McKenna on the backside. Gross's front-side loss was worse (Valencia) and DeSanto beat Gross at the US Open last year, so Desanto to #8, Gross goes to #9, and Kolodzik to #10.

Alec Pantaleo, who both Gross and Desanto beat, falls out of the top 10 but would be at #11 as he still beat Valencia.
