2023-24 NCAA DI Rankings
157 - Levi Haines
Peyton Robb won the CKLV by impressively defeating Cael Swensen, Will Lewan, and Jacori Teemer. For that performance, Robb holds his spot at #3 in the rankings at 157 pounds.
After Robb and Teemer, things get really crazy to sort out at 157 pounds from the results of the CKLV. First, Ed Scott lost to Peyton Kellar but then Scott went on an incredible run that included wins over Ryder Downey, Tommy Askey, Trevor Chumbley, Will Lewan, and Bryce Andonian. We chose to reward Scott's wins and move him ahead of Andonian to the #5 spot.
Like Scott, Andonian dropped an early match to Meyer Shapiro but then strung several solid wins together including one over Daniel Cardenas. Cardenas also moves up after beating the aforementioned Shapiro and Lewan.
Despite the win over Andonian, Shapiro stays at number 17 after suffering consecutive losses to #7 Daniel Cardenas and #16 Trevor Chumbley.
The final wrestler worth mentioning is Northern Iowa's Ryder Downey. He moves up to #12 after defeating both Paddy Gallagher and Trevor Chumbley in Vegas.
