Jacob Holschlag (Union-La Porte) defeated Drew Foster (Mediapolis), 3-2, in the 160-pound finals at the 2014 2A Iowa High School State Wrestling Championships. Both continued their college careers at the University of Northern Iowa where Foster was a two-time All-American (7th in 2017 and 1st in 2019) and Holschlag placed fifth at the 2018 NCAA Championships. Both reflect on the match and what it meant for their careers as they became teammates.
