Indiana Frosh-Soph State Championships

Info
Thanks to all the Coaches and Wrestlers for making this inaugural event such a success. We hope to add and improve on it next year and are open all of your suggestions. So far several have been submitted and will probably be adopted: --Qualify top 16 from each Qualifier instead of top 12. --a 2-day spectator pass. --Have a Coaches Dinner or Social Saturday evening and/or Sunday morning. Please let me know your ideas ... thanks again. Wrestlers from the North and South Qualifiers have been imported (top 12 per weight class). This means you are also registered. Wrestlers Qualifying for IHSAA State have been upgraded to a Level 1 Criteria Separation. We wish all of them well at State this weekend. 48 Freshmen and Sophomores qualified, and those who win on Friday night are assured a coveted IHSAA State Podium position. They will be removed from this event with our congratulations on their success. Wrestlers reaching the SS-Quarter Finals have been upgraded to a Level 2 Criteria Separation. Wrestlers Qualifying for Semi-States have been imported with SSQ level 3 Criteria Separation. The fee for this event is $25, paid at the door only. Doors open on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. EST. Upon paying the Entry Fee and receiving your weigh-in card, you may proceed directly to the Scales. Scales will close at 9:30. We will weigh-in at the mats like the NCAA. Six scales will be available. Find the scale with the shortest line. We will be inputting weights directly into the tournament software and making weight class changes up or down on the spot. Your weight that day determines your weight class, not your qualifying weight. Singlet and shoes are required with a total 4 pound allowance per weight class. Please remember that weigh-outs will be done for the 12 remaining wrestlers upon completion of their weight-class on Saturday. You will be given an extra 2 pounds. If you make weight you need not weigh in on Sunday.
