43th Annual Tournament of Champions Friday and Saturday, January 8-9, 2016 Western Park Arena (302 E 200 S Vernal, UT 84078) Wednesday, January 6th - registration and seeding info done on line for varsity and JV no later than 10:00 PM. - It is coach`s responsibility to correctly rank your wrestler using the criteria set on the web page Thursday, January 7th 5:00 P.M. - Seeding will be established using a computer program to evaluate information submitted by coaches. - The Tournament Director and committee will assist according to the four criteria listed above. Friday, January 8th - Weigh-in will be conducted at Western Park Arena: Varsity 12:00pm (+4 lbs.); Medical Check & weigh-in - Coaches Meeting will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Packets will be given to all Head Coaches. These packets will contain tournament passes for team members and coaches, completed bracket sheets of each weight class. Management and operation guidelines for the Tournament will be reviewed at this time by the Tournament Directors. Tournament of Champions Schedule January 8th - Session 1 (Varsity) 2:30-9:00 P.M. (2 Championship & 3 consolation) - Session 1 (JV) 2:30-9:00pm The JV tournament will be wrestled until completion. January 9th - weigh in 7:00-8:00am (+4) - Session 2 (Varsity) 9:00-10:30am (Quarters and round 4 consolation) - Session 2 (Second chance) 9:00-2:30pm - Session 3 (Varsity) 10:30-12:00pm (Semifinals and round 5 consolation) - Lunch Break 12:00-12:30pm - Session 4 (Varsity) 12:30-2:30pm (Round 6-7 consolation) - Session 5 (Varsity) 2:30-4:00pm (3rd, 5th, 7th place matches) - Session 3 (JV) 2:30-4:00pm (JV finals) - Session 6 (Varsity) 5:00pm (Finals) Awards will be presented to the top 8 and Most Valuable Wrestler for Upper and Lower Weights Top Three Team Awards
