'```CIF Central Section Boys Wrestling Division V Tournament Saturday, February 12, 2022 Registration 7:00 Groom Check/Weigh-ins 7:00am Coaches Meeting 9:30am Doors Open to Public 10:00am Championship Round I 11:00-1:30pm Championship Round II 1:30-4:00pm Consolation Round I 4:00-5:30pm Consolation Round II 5:30-7:00pm Approximate times listed--Each succeeding round will begin at the conclusion of the previous round. Coaches and wrestlers should remain in close proximity to the gym in order to be ready for each match. A. Divisional Seeding Plan Meeting The Tournament Director will establish a committee to seed the tournament. B. Entry Fees--Checks Payable to the host school?School must pay entry fee on day of event The entry fee for the 2022 Divisional Tournament is $15.00 per wrestler. Each school is responsible for paying the fee of each qualifying wrestler, regardless of whether they actually wrestle or not. C. Registration and Weigh-in Coaches must pick up and verify their packet rosters before their wrestlers can weigh-in. Scales will be made available in the weigh-in area to check weight. Absolutely NO dehydration activities will be allowed in the weigh-in area. Weigh-ins will be conducted by weight class, starting at 106 lbs, and going in succession until 285 lb weight class. The only individuals allowed in the weigh-in area during weigh-ins are the wrestlers and the tournament staff. All NFHS weighing in rules will be followed and enforced (See rule 4 Sections 4 and 5 of your 2021-2022 NFHS Wrestling rules books. D. Competition Weigh-in Form & Dissension Chart Sheet Each coach is required to bring his/her team?s Competition Weigh-In Form and Dissension Chart Sheet to the Central Section Divisional Competition. Tournament officials will retain all forms. Please be sure that all wrestlers` weight classes are correct and all alternates are listed. PENALTY: Failure to comply will result in the individual being ineligible to compete and charged with forfeiture. E. Weight Classes The following weight classes will be in effect for the Central Section Divisional Championships--Note: The 2 pound growth allowance will be used in accordance with the National Federation High School (NFHS) Wrestling Rules. Coaches passes?For coaches use only Four wristbands will be issued to the Head Coach of each school. Only those coaches with wristbands will be permitted mat side. G. Security We ask that ALL wrestlers and coaches stay away from the mat area unless they have been assigned to a mat to wrestle. Only two coaches, with wristbands, from each school will be permitted matside during a match. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Any violation of this rule will result in deduction of team points. I. Championship Finals Order The order of the Championships Finals will begin with the 106 lb weight class and continue until the 285 lb weight class. J. Consolation rounds All Consolation matches will use the 1/2/2 minute format. K. Awards Medals will be awarded to 1st-8th place. ALL PLACE WINNERS MUST BE IN WARMUPS (LETTERMAN JACKETS ARE ACCEPTABLE) TO RECEIVE THEIR AWARDS. NO HATS OR STREET CLOTHES WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE AWARDS CEREMONY. L. Officials Officials will be assigned from multiple Associations, throughout the Central Section. M.
