`GUNSLINGER INVITATIONAL Saturday, December 4th, 2021 SCHEDULE: 7:00 a.m. Building opens 7:45 a.m. Weigh-ins ****1 pound extra allowance***** 9:15 - Finish (approximatley 6:30 p.m.) Wrestling 16 TEAMS: Arrowhead, Burlington, De Pere, DeForest, Fort Atkinson, Homestead, Kewaskum, Muskego, Neenah, Neilsville, Oconomowoc, Oshkosh North, Slinger, Waukesha West, West Bend East, Wisconsin Lutheran FORMAT Individual 10, 12, 14,16-man Scramble MATCHES: All matches will be 2-2-2. We will be wrestling on 6 mats with matside scoring and scoring towers. And a projection screen posting on deck and in the hole matches and mat assignments. The only break will be a lunch break after the third round. AWARDS: 1st place team, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place individuals and Outstanding Wrestler There is an extra pound for this tournament. NO SEEDING MEETING- We want to get the tournament promptly started at 9:15am. Since this is the first tournament of the season, we will be seeding wrestlers according to their last season`s varsity record. (DO NOT ENTER JV RECORDS) There will be a 10-match minimum and all varsity records will be seeded, even losing records will be seeded. Seeded criteria in this order: 1. State Place 2020 2. State Qualifier 2020 3. Minimum 10 Varsity Matches 2019-2020 4. Varsity Record Winning Percentage 5. Varsity Record Number of Wins 6. Finish at 2019 Gunslinger 7. Special Consideration (JV Records, Youth Accomplishments, etc) Note: All criteria should be from the 2020-2021 season and not previous seasons except for the Gunslinger placement criteria. `
