Buffalo Bison Wrestling Tournament January 30th and 31st AD’s and Wrestling Coaches Buffalo High School is pleased to host the 7th Annual Bison Wrestling Tournament. This year the tournament will be held on Friday and Saturday, January 30th and 31st. We will be hosting a Varsity and JV bracketed tournament. Varsity athletes will be place in a 16-man bracket tournament. Coaches may enter multiple wrestlers at any weight at the Varsity level. JV athletes will be placed in an 8 man pool on Friday and a 4 man bracketed tournament on Saturday. Roster Information and Tournament Programs: Coaches will enter their teams on trackwrestling.com. More information will follow soon. Entry Fee: $150 per school. Please make vouchers payable to Buffalo High School. Please turn in your vouchers upon check in. Weigh-Ins: Friday: 11:00 AM, wrestling beginning at 12:30 pm and Saturday: 8:00 AM, wrestling will begin at 9 am. If a team does have a match scheduled for Thursday night, we will let you know at least 48 hours prior to the tournament. Please let us know if anyone wrestles Thursday January 30th as soon as possible. Seeding Meeting/Coaches meeting: The seeding meeting will take place at 11am on Friday in the hospitality room (wrestling room). Line-ups: Please send us a roster so we can create a roster for each team. Trackwrestling will be used for the tournament. More information will follow soon. Athletic Trainers: Buffalo High School will also have trainers on site during the tournament. Towels: BHS will not provide towels. Please bring with you what is needed for your team. Parking: Buses may load/unload on the northeast side of the High School. Friday, buses may park in the lot just north of the school and Saturday in the lot south of the school. Locker Rooms: Each team will be assigned a locker room. Participants should not leave ANY items in the locker rooms. Buffalo High School and Johnson County School District #1 will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. Please be responsible for your own valuables. Hospitality Room: A hospitality room will be provided for use by the coaches, officials, bus drivers and tournament workers. The hospitality room will be located in the BHS Wrestling Room on the bottom floor. Appearance During Tournament: Please discourage your wrestlers from wearing T-Shirts with inappropriate language, logos, or designs. We appreciate your help in enforcing this request.
