Where: Rayne High School North Gym and South Gym (1020 N. Polk St.) When: Saturday, January 16th Format: Track wrestling will be used as usual. Double elimination from a 32-man dual consolation bracket. If pigtail matches are used it will be to wrestle into the tournament. Those matches will be single elimination. Four mats will be used this year (two in each gym). Weigh in: Saturday, January 16th at 7:30 am (South Gym) wrestling will start approximately 9:30 or sooner. Entry Fee: $10 per wrestler Rosters: Coaches will be required to enter wrestlers into track wrestling, as well as email all line-ups, seeding information, and any changes to mcredeur@acadia.k12.la.usby Thursday, January 14th at 7:00 pm. Awards: 1st and 2nd place team trophies, champion shirts, 1st-3rd individual awards, and OW awards for upper and lower weight classes. Any additional JV wrestlers will not be allowed to enter, unless there is room in the bracket. We will try our best to accommodate everyone. Brackets will be viewable by late Thursday night following the seeding meeting allowing all coaches to see which guys have a spot and those who do not. No changes will be allowed Saturday. We do a good job of getting brackets out early so any corrections or concerns to seeding or lineups should be brought to attention Friday. A hospitality room will be available for coaches and refs.
