DATE: Saturday, February 2, 2018 WEIGH INS: Start at 7:00 am (98 lbs thru 285 lbs) in the CSH wrestling room. If you have consecutive days of competition that would cause an extra weight allowance, please contact us as soon as possible so that at least a 48 hour notice can be given. Lineups are due by 6 pm on Thursday, January 31st. We will seed the brackets so they are ready when you arrive. Any lineups received after 6 pm will be randomly drawn into the tournament Saturday morning. If 16 man brackets become full extra brackets will be created. So bring extras. ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $250.00. The entry fee must be received before the tournament date. For electronic transfers, please use the following transfer number: SR030-451000-732001774 COACHES MEETING: After weigh-ins, the brackets will be finalized at this meeting. Hospitality room and food is for coaches, managers (2), and officials only. You will receive admission tickets at this meeting. We will also be asking for a list of any coaches or managers that will be arriving later in the day so that they can be admitted free of charge. IMPORTANT: We will be using Track Wrestling to run the tournament. The top eight wrestlers at each weight will be pre-seeded on Friday, therefore we need your roster by 6pm on Thursday. Seeding will be based on most wins and then fewest losses. The remaining wrestlers will be drawn in at random. Extra wrestlers will be used to fill a 16 man bracket, and to create extra brackets if needed. Coaches may also individually match up extra wrestlers for exhibition matches. PARTICIPANTS: This tournament is intended to be a Junior Varsity experience. Our school does not allow food or drink in the gym. However, we realize that some food and drink will be brought into the gym. We do ask your help in keeping your area picked-up and clean. LOCKER ROOMS: Locker rooms are available for showering and changing only. Please keep your possessions with you in the stands. AWARDS: Trophies will be given to the top two teams. Individual medals will be given to the top four wrestlers in each weight class. FIVE MATCH COUNT: Since this is a double elimination tourney, six matches are possible. Criteria for winning the sixth match will be as follows: 1. The wrestler that can advance will go on to the next round. 2. Head to head. 3. The wrestler with the most team points. 4. Then a coin will be tossed to determine the winner. ADMISSION: Adults = $10.00 for the day K-12 students & Seniors = $6.00 all day
