Tournament fee is paid online. Each wrestler may compete in one weight class. Each wrestler is required to select a skill level. Seth Garvin: 100 Old Town Rd Suite 100, Vestavia Hills, AL 35216 Saturday: On Site Weigh-in Age groups Bantam, Midget, Novice and Schoolboy will begin 1 hour and 30 min prior to start time of each age division and will end 30 min prior to start time. 1 lbs allowance for onsite weigh ins. Each wrestler must weigh in during their appointed weigh in times. If a wrestler busts weight they will not be able to compete *Wrestlers (Bantam-Schoolboy) are allowed to weigh-in on either Friday OR Saturday. All wrestlers will get a 1-pound weight allowance at weigh ins *Middle School wrestlers are only required to compete at one regular season event. Seeding Meeting Seeding meeting will be at 8:30 PM on Friday, February 4th, 2022 at the Finley Center 5508 Stadium Trace Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244 The seeding meeting will be used to discuss the top 2 placers from each region. The champion from each region will be seeded in the 1 - 4 spots and the runner-ups from each region will be seeded 5th ? 8th. No other wrestlers will be considered for seeds. If a wrestler did not compete in their regional event they will not be seeded. Per AYWO guidelines. Information Each team will be allotted 1 coach per 5 wrestlers. Any coach over the limit of coaches per wrestler may purchase a 10.00 coaches? band for mat access only. Team Points will be scored for only 1 wrestler per team per weight class. Each team must submit their coaching list to Youth and Tournament Director by Friday at 3 pm. AYWO Standards will be used for age divisions and weight classes. All final matches for each division will start at the conclusion of the last 3rd place match for that division. Medal ceremony will follow each weights final match. Coaches must maintain a visible AAU Card to be allowed on the mats and in the hospitality room.
