DATE: Saturday, December 10, 2011 PLACE: St. Cloud State University – Halenbeck Hall - Fieldhouse ELIGIBILITY: Open to all post high school wrestlers. WEIGH-INS & Weigh-Ins and skin checks at Halenbeck Hall SKIN CHECKS: will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, December 10th. WEIGHT CLASSES: All NCAA weights will be used: 125, 133, 141,149, 157, 165, 174, 184, 197 & 285. ENTRY FEE: A fee of $25.00 per wrestler will be charged. Wrestlers failing to make weight they entered at will be charged a $35.00 entry fee. Entry fees are non-refundable. AWARDS: T-shirts will be given to the top three place finishers in each weight class. In addition, an “Outstanding Wrestler” and “Most Falls” (least amount of time) plaque will be awarded. TOURNAMENT: This will be a double elimination format tournament. TIMING: All matches will be seven minutes with riding time. If the match is tied at the end of regulation, the NCAA overtime procedure will be used. MATCHES: Wrestling will start at 9 a.m. and run straight through. We will wrestle on six mats. SCORING: There will be no team scoring. ENTRY DEADLINE: All entries must be submitted by Thursday, December 8th by 6 p.m. ENTRIES: All entries must be submitted through the NWCA online site. Tournament entry instructions will follow by email as we get closer to the date. SEEDING: Outstanding individuals will be seeded.
