Friday, November 30th
2:00 pm: All teams are required to be in weigh- in area at the same time (Wrestling room).
? Coaches must have Alpha Master weigh-in Sheets available at time of weigh-ins for both days.
? Weigh-ins will be conducted by order of arrival to the wrestling room.
? All athletes on the same team must be present to weigh-in, or the individual is forfeited from the tournament.
? In extreme circumstances if a team arrives after 2:00pm due to transportation they must notify the tournament director Jon Ferry at 702-266-7572 before arrival.
? In this case that team does not get the opportunity to check their weight, and must report to the weigh-in area immediately.
Weigh-in with a 1 pound allowance (e.g. 107, 114, 121, etc.) using national weights
Please read the flier closely as some things have changed from last year.
? Entry fee of $400.00 due at weigh ?in. ($450.00) if not received by 12/1/18)
? By attending this tournament you agree to pay a late fee if necessary.
? No exceptions!
2:45 ? 3:15 pm: Coaches meeting to do pairings of Friday?s duals and to answer any last minute questions. The pairing of teams will be made randomly between the upper 8 and lower 8 teams with an emphasis to keep the first days duals out of State vs. Nevada.
3:30 ? 5:00 pm: Round 1 of preliminary competition will take place on 4 mats. Matches will be 2-2-2, 6 minutes in length. No Protests: all officials? decisions are final.
5:00 ? 6:30 pm: Round 2
6:30 ? 8:00 pm: Round 3
8:00 ? 9:30 pm: Round 4
When a match is completed the next round will start immediately. Please notify your parents, and staff not to leave.
The total number of points scored by each team on Friday will determine which seed the teams will be placed in for Saturday?s competition. See Page 3 for tiebreaker criteria.
Saturday, December 1st
7:00 am: Weigh-in with a 2 pound allowance (e.g. 108, 115, 122, etc.).
8:30- 10:00 am: Round 1 of bracketed competition.
10:00 ? 11:30 am: Round 2
11:30 ? 1:00 pm: Round 3
1:00 ? 2:30 pm: Round 4
2:30 ? 4:00 pm: Round 5
4:00 ? 5:30 pm: Round 6
5:30 ? 7:00 pm: Round 7
7:00-8:30 p.m. Round 8
Awards at 8:30 pm ? Team trophies will be given to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place teams in the tournament.
Miscellaneous Information:
-Entry fees for spectators will be $6 per day for adults and $5 per day for children and students. 3 coaches, one manager, and cheerleaders in uniform will be let in for free. The gym will be cleared out each day before the first round of competition.
-There will be a snack bar available for athletes and spectators and a hospitality room for coaches. We do ask that food and drinks remain outside the gymnasium. We greatly appreciate your help with this matter. Food and drink in the gym has been a problem in the past and will be strictly enforced.
