Please make checks payable to Viewmont Invitational Wrestling Tournament. Weight Classifications & Two Pound Weight Allowance Due to the fact that teams entered in the tournament will compete on Wednesday and Thursday, December 15 & 16, a two pound weight allowance will be made. (108, 115, 122, 128, 134, 140, 147, 154, 162, 172, 184, 197, 222, 287) The weight will remain the same for Saturday; there will be no additional allowance as per rule. Line-up Entry Deadline Lineups must be posted online by Wednesday, December 14th at 7:00 P.M. to www.trackwrestling.com. To post your lineup and seeding criteria you will need to go to www.trackwrestling.com and use your assigned username and password that will be sent to you in an email. You will have a separate username and password for the varsity and JV tournaments. Follow these steps: 1.Go to www.trackwrestling.com 2. In the `Event Name` field, type `Viewmont Invitational` and click `GO` next to Quick Search. This will pull up two tournaments, the `Viewmont Invitational Varsity 2011` and the `Viewmont Invitational JV 2011`. Click on the Viewmont Invitational Varsity 2011 and then select as the USER TYPE `Statistician`. You will then enter your assigned username and password. Once finished entering and saving your varsity lineup and seeding criteria, repeat the same process for entering your JV lineup, but of course after selecting the `Viewmont Invitational JV 2011` tournament. Be sure to use the varsity username and password for the varsity tournament and the JV username and password for the JV tournament. These instructions will be repeated in an automated email sent to you from TrackWrestling. Head to Head Matchups Once the clock strikes 7 P.M. on Wednesday the 14th, all the teams` rosters will be available for public viewing. At that point you will be able to login and select which opponents your wrestler has beaten (and lost to) head to head. This option will only be open during that 24 hour period between 7 P.M. on Wednesday and 6:59 P.M. on Thursday. Doing this in advance will greatly increase the efficiency of our seeding meeting. The only discussions in the seeding meeting that we should have on head to head matchups should be in the event of an unforseen lineup change of which I am notified by Friday morning. Parking As you arrive, parking facilities for cars are located north of the gym, behind the school. Because school will still be in session when you arrive on Friday, the lot will probably be crowded. Spaces will most likely be available in the northwest section of the lot. Buses should be parked in the northwest section of the lot near the P.E. Field. Weigh-in On Friday the weigh-in will begin at 11:30 am and close at noon. They will be conducted in the small gym and will proceed according to NFHS rules. For the Friday weigh-in, teams will be assigned to weigh in with another team with the opposing coaches acting as the officiators. You must use your valid weigh-in sheet assigned by the weight management website. Saturday, the weigh-in will begin at 8:00 am and will be conducted by weight class as indicated by NFHS rules. Seeding/Orientation Meeting The seeding meeting will begin at 11:30 am in the wrestling room. The entrance fee will be collected at this meeting and coaches meal and admittance passes will also be distributed at this time. Each team will be given meal passes for up to five coaches. Please arrange to have a coach in attendance on time at 11:30 am. Lunch will be provided for the coaches at the seeding meeting. Current Utah or Wyoming Activities Assoc. passes will be honored for admission. Cheerleaders in uniform will be admitted free of charge. A reasonable number of team managers and scorekeepers will be admitted without charge. Awards The top six place winners in each weight class will receive medals. The top two teams will receive trophies. An outstanding wrestler will be named in the lower and upper weights. Each will receive a trophy. In the J.V. tournament the top six place winners will receive medals and the top two teams will receive trophies. Junior Varsity Tournament The J.V. Tournament will be held in the small gym located west of the main gym. As Varsity rounds conclude J.V. matches will be moved to the main gym as well. Seeding The following will be used for seeding. All wrestlers deserving seeds will be considered based upon the following criteria; others will be drawn. We will have a seeding proposal for each weight when you arrive, any adjustments necessary will be made at the seeding meeting.
