2017 De Soto Dual Wrestling Tournament January 20, 2017 4:00pm - at De Soto High School Welcome to De Soto High School, the site of the 2017 De Soto Dual Wrestling Tournament. De Soto High School is honored to be hosting this tournament and to have you as our guests. Please note the following information: Location: De Soto High School Main Gym, address above. We ask that after dropping off team members at the Northwest Gym Entrance, you have buses park away from the main entrance of the gym, to the East of the building, this allows parents and fans to park near the main entrance. 2017 Participating Teams: De Soto, Bonner Springs, Easton-Pleasant Ridge, Piper, Shawnee Mission North, Tonganoxie, Washington, and Wyandotte Coaches/Scratch Meeting: 3:30pm in Coaches Conference/Laundry Room, NW Entrance of Building. Entries: Due by Wednesday, January 18th. Schedule/Tournament Format: We will have two pools with 4 teams in each pool to begin. Pool duals will be followed by bracketed duals. Please see page 2 of this document for the pools/schedule. Start Times: Duals will run on schedule or slightly ahead of schedule, please have your teams ready. ¬Roster/Pass Gate/Team Photo: Please fill out the roster and pass list we have included and return by noon Tuesday, January 17th. Please send the roster and pass list information to Ryan Johnson, rjohnson@usd232.org. Officials: KSHSAA certified officials will officiate each game. Trophies/Medals: 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place Trophies will be awarded. Medals will also be presented to the 1st Place team. Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the final round. Hospitality Room: A hospitality room will be provided for coaches and officials. The hospitality room will be located in the Black Box. Trainer: An Athletic Trainer will be on site each night, provided by the University of Kansas Hospital. Pass Gate/Admission: Only those listed on the pass gate will be admitted free. Gate prices, Adults $5, Students $3. No league passes will be allowed. Entry Fee: $150.00 entry fee from each team due on or before January 20th, 2017.
