It is open to K-5th graders with less than 2 years of experience as of Sept. 1, 2020. In the Rookie Division, if there is a pin in the first round, the results stand, but the referee will restart the two wrestlers to allow both wrestlers additional mat time. The referees are really fantastic about slowing things down and helping wrestlers with less experience understand the sport.
