Freedom Irish Invitational Wrestling Tournament January 17th 2009 Hello and Welcome! Welcome to the 36th annual Irish Invitational. We are again very excited about this years tournament. The quality of the teams and individuals at the tournament this year is again outstanding. We would like to thank you for bringing your teams here to compete. With a full contingent of 16 teams, it is sure to be a great day. Please inform me by email kerickson@freedomschools.k12.wi.us if you have a match on Friday, January 16th, by Wednesday, January 14th at 12:00 noon. If so, then every team will be allowed an extra pound during weigh-ins. Basic Information; Tournament can be followed and final results can be found on www.trackwrestling.com . Coaches Meeting - 9:00 am in room 036 in the middle school. Round one will begin at 10:00 am followed immediately by round two. Rounds 3, 4, and 5 will commense after breaks of approximately 10-20 minutes depending on timing so workers and officials can have adequate time to eat! Four mats for Rounds 1,2,3,4 and three mats for Round 5. Finals are at approximately 5:30 pm Awards: 1-3rd place medals, 1st and 2nd place team trophies and Tournament MVP Plaque. Admission Prices All day Passes ONLY! Adult - $5.00 Student k-12 and senior citizens $3.00 Bus Parking Please have all busses park in the front high school parking lot! (upper lot) Coaches are asked to only have 2 coaches in the corner and one photographer or statistician. Do not bring coolers into the field house. Lockers will be supplied.
