Below you will find materials and information for the wrestling event to be held in the Fowler High School Gymnasium. Rosters Rosters must be entered into trackwrestling by 10:00 pm, Wednesday, November 30th, Teams will be given their trackwrestling password on Monday, November 28 th. Coaches will enter their wrestlers into the tournament. Please fill out the attached google form. Seeding Criteria will be 2021 state placers, 2021 regional placers, all others draw. Teams are expected to be Varsities, unless we have invited your JV. Extra wrestlers will only be entered to fill the 16 man bracket. We will keep brackets at 16 man unless there is a weight class where there are more than 16 schools with an entry. I will call or email schools with extras Thursday or Friday to let you know if your extras are in. (You may not want to bring extras who are not wrestling.) Please denote varsity wrestlers. Bracketing will be double elimination, with cross bracketing in the consolation pairings. Team scoring will be on a 16-12-9-7-5-3 basis with two point?s advancement other than consolation. Two additional points will be awarded for fall, disqualification or forfeit, one and 1/2 additional for technical fall, and one point for major decision. Individual awards will be presented to 1st through 3rd places in each weight division. Team awards will be awarded to top three finishers in team scoring. Each team will be required to provide a $185.00 entry fee, payable at check-in on tournament day ($90 minimum for teams with 7 wrestlers or less). Checks should be made payable to Fowler High School. ADMISSION PRICES: Students/Seniors $ 5.00 All Day Adults $ 7.00 All Day CHSAA passes will be honored. Coaches, wrestlers, and one manager per team will be stamped at weigh-in. Cheerleaders in uniform will be admitted, but must cheer from the bleachers not the edge of the mats. LOCKER ROOMS There will be two locker rooms available to change and take showers. No lockers will be available. Each team will be responsible for its own security. MEALS Concessions will be available all day and a hospitality room with be available for coaches and workers.
