Each Match will be 1-1-1 KAP Wrestling will run brackets MYWA Referees When: Sunday, January 13th, 2019 Where: Starland Sports complex, 645 Washington St. Hanover, MA Registration: Online https://events.flowrestling.org/event/6c6d34e5-b475-4672-af35-59c8a7a9b7fc Grade School Flight Grades K-4: 1. Weigh-ins from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM 2. Wrestling begins @ 9:00 AM Middle School Flight Grades 5-8: 1. Weigh-ins from 8:30 - 9:30 AM 2. Wrestling begins @ 10:00 AM (or earlier if possible) Participation Fee: $40 per wrestler Admission Fee: $5 per adult
Tourney Style: Round-robin brackets of 4-5 wrestlers. Each wrestler will compete in at least three matches. Matches will consist of 3 one-minute periods (1-1-1).
Skin and Nail Check: Will be completed at weigh in. Please be sure to trim nails in advance. Any questionable skin issues will be referred to head tournament official for final decision.
Grouping: We will do our best to group wrestlers by age, weight & ability. It will be at the coaches responsibility/discretion to move wrestlers between groupings 1st Year “ Little to no tournament experience 1+ Years “ More than 2 tournaments Multi year “ Multiple Years/Tournament
Awards: Trophies for 1-3 place, medal for 4th.
Snack Bar: Pizza, Snacks, assorted offerings & drinks throughout the day. (Please no Food or Drinks in Gym)
